We’re excited to announce that AEC Group and Standard Chartered Bank (Hong Kong) Limited signed an MoU at Standard Chartered’s headquarter yesterday, with the participation of Ms Grace Kwok, our Chairman and Executive Director, Mr Dennis Wu, our CEO and Executive Director, and Ms Tracy Wong Harris, Head of Sustainable Finance of Standard Chartered, to jointly promote sustainable finance in real estate and infrastructure sectors in ASEAN and other Asian markets.
We believe that this collaboration with Standard Chartered will allow for the promotion and integration of numerous green building and ESG certifications and framework such as EDGE, BEAMPlus2.0, LEED, BREEAM, China Green Building Label, and Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark (“GRESB”) for sustainable finance. AEC Group and its affiliates in Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam will provide sustainability-related technical support and workshops to Standard Chartered’s clients to increase their awareness about sustainability and sustainable finance in different markets in ASEAN.
